Mr. Anil Kumar Makkar, is a seasoned professional with an illustrious career spanning multiple continents. With decades of experience in the industry, along with a 21-year stint at the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company, he has accumulated extensive knowledge in tyre manufacturing. In his current capacity as the Manufacturing Director at JK Tyre, he oversees manufacturing and sustainability operations across India and Mexico.

Under his visionary leadership, JK Tyre has made sustained efforts in water and energy conservation. The company has already achieved usage of over 50% renewable power while also recording the lowest raw water consumption at 1.62 kilolitres per ton of tyre production. Mr. Makkar’s forward-thinking approach has helped introduce advanced data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the manufacturing process at JK Tyre, making its operations more cost effective, energy efficient and sustainable.

He is an enthusiastic supporter of theater, music, and literature, and also enjoys writing prose and poetry.
